CEMF is a multiple stock company through assets recombined from Chongqing Electric Machinery Factory, which is in the second class of large sized enterprises and is more than seventy years old. We have inherited all of our manufacturing technology and management experience from Chongqing Electric Machinery Factory and have absorbed all of our technicians and most of the technical workers from Chongqing Electric Machinery Factory. We have an excellent management system in accordance with modernized enterprise institutions and are a national key enterprise as well as a ISO9001 certified enterprise. We specialize in manufacturing medium and small sized AC motors, DC motors, generators and generator units.

CEMF covers an area of 336,000 square meters with a building area of 96,000 square meters. There are 2352 workers in the company including 506 engineers and technicians and 262 senior engineers. The average age of our employees is 34.3 years old and 82 percent are under 45 years old. Our main products are AC/DC motors, medium and small sized generators and hydraulic turbines. We can also supply medium and small sized hydro-generator units. These products are comprised of more than 70 series, 120 types and 4600 different specifications. Our annual output is USD118,300,000.

CEMF is equipped with various kinds of equipment and instruments. The total quantity is 1,150, including 641 main productive sets of equipment. Complete testing and measuring facilities are adopted by CEMF, such as in our Special Environment Lab. The Center Lab of CEMF is authorized by the Government to supervise quality and inspect commodity of electric machines in Chongqing. The Electrical Machine Research Institute and the Electrical Technology Research Institute specialize in developing new products and researching new technology. The computer auxiliary design and management technology are widely used in scientific research, design, management and administration.

CEMF has cooperated with domestic famous universities and scientific research institutes over a long period of time. We have developed technical cooperation with the Electrical Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and undertook national major industrial project researching and developing in the electric car motor project. We have developed asynchronous generators and switch reluctances motor together with Chongqing University.
